Valve seat inserts are important components in the valve train system and of essential significance for an optimized combustion process in the cylinder Together with the valve the above mentioned components have to guarantee perfect sealing of the combustion chamber to ensure that the required compression or combustion pressures are reached in the cylinder Increased wear results in variation of the combustion conditions and thus in a decrease of engine performance and emission.
